The engineers at BMW did an excellent job striking balance between exceptional power and cooling in the latest generation of BMW F8X M3 and M4 models. Unfortunately, this meant positioning components, namely the oil cooler, in precarious positions. Placed on the undercarriage and parallel to the road's surface, the F8X oil cooler is vulnerable to bumps, scrapes, debris, and other road hazards.
